Although the journey of our spirit towards God is a solitary one, for centuries seekers have realized that the journey is easier if we make it in the company of others.

My  personal experience within and outside of the Church is that the teaching of Jesus comes to bear: "Where two or more are gathered together in my name, there I AM in the midst of them."

SUnday's @ 8:00 a.m.

Monday Morning Meditation @ 11:00 a.m.

We warmly welcome you to our ongoing weekly opportunities:  Sunday Morning Sacrament and Meditation and our Meditation Group on Monday mornings.

Please join us on the campus of the Pine Shores Presbyterian Church

on Sunday in the Meditation Chapel in the Community Center.  And on Monday in the Youth House which can be accessed from the parking lot at 6116 Crestwood Drive.

You are always welcome -- and DO BRING A FRIEND!

Each meditation group, depending on its members, will have a quality of its own.

But there are things you can expect and depend on.

We will begin with a 10-15 minute teaching time where a presentation on meditation will be offered. The teaching time will be followed by 30 minutes of silent meditation. After a short break, there will be a closing prayer.

Those who wish to remain for conversation are welcome to do so.

Come meditate with us. Please check the calendar page for our schedule.

When the need presents itself to add to our silent meditation group, plans are underway to provide a weekly Guided Meditation time.

During guided meditation, you will be invited to enter into a Scripture story and explore in your mind's eye the sights, sounds, characters and insights. A guided meditation asks you to put yourself into the story as onlooker or paticipant. At the end of a guided meditation, approximately 20 minutes, particpants are invited to share as little or as much as they'd like for the benefit of the others in the group. The group will close with a short prayer time.

You can check out our Calendar page to check dates and times.
